On April 26, 2024, the Academic Affairs office and CTLT organized training on the Alignment of Learning Outcomes and Assessment for听 AUCA faculty as part of faculty development initiatives. Led by Dr. Martha Merrill, a distinguished Professor from Kent State University, Ohio, USA, the training attracted twenty-three faculty members representing various programs across AUCA. Dr. Merrill's expertise and experience in curriculum development and instructional design enriched the training session, offering practical guidance and innovative approaches to course planning and assessment.

The session began with exploring external factors influencing learning outcomes within individual courses. Dr. Merrill highlighted the importance of designing course learning outcomes that are specific, measurable, and time-bound.
